Netwerkevent COP29 Baku 2024

As the Dutch Climate Envoy, I invite you to a networking event about the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan (COP29). This event will inform you about the priorities and opportunities for the Dutch private sector at COP29.
Date: Wednesday, 11 September 2024, 15:00 – 18:00 CEST.
Location: The Ministry of Climate Policy & Green Growth (de Veegenszaal), Bezuidenhoutseweg 73, The Hague.
During this event, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Netherlands, H.E. Rahman Sahib oglu Mustafayev and I will present the priorities of the COP29 Presidency and the main COP29 negotiation topics. Via a panel discussion, we will look at opportunities for the Dutch private sector at COP29, including the exhibition area and side events. We will also address how the Dutch government and partners can help Dutch businesses with opportunities in the climate, renewable energy, transport, water and food security fields and the investment opportunities financiers see.

Panel discussion on COP29 priorities and opportunities for Dutch businesses. This will also include pitches by Invest International, Netherlands Enterprise
Agency (RVO), and Atradius Dutch State Business (ADSB).

Q&A.

Networking reception.
Participants
Invitations will be extended to representatives from Dutch companies (incl. branch associations),
financiers and knowledge institutes. Representatives from four Dutch ministries (Foreign Affairs;
Climate Policy & Green Growth; Infrastructure & Water Management; Agriculture, Fisheries, Food
Security & Nature) will also be present.
